Content Moderation Policy

Establishes the rules, scope, and procedures by which Uhpenry moderates content on the Platform, including automated actions, user reporting, review, and enforcement.

This Content Moderation Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the standards and procedures governing the moderation of content submitted to the Uhpenry platform (“Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, all users, including Booth operators (“Booths”) and Users, agree to be bound by this Policy, the Terms of Service, and any other applicable Uhpenry policies.

1. Authority and Scope

1.1 Uhpenry reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to review, restrict, hide, remove, or otherwise moderate any content submitted to the Platform, whether proactively or in response to user reports.

1.2 This Policy applies to all user-submitted materials, including but not limited to:

Project titles, names, and descriptions.
Repository contents.
Booth listings and associated terms & conditions.
Uploaded assets, media, and documentation.
Metadata and tags.
Marketplace, booth, or team profile content.

1.3 Content found to be unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, or otherwise in violation of Platform policies may be moderated without prior notice.

2. Action-First Moderation

2.1 Uhpenry implements an action-first moderation protocol. When potentially harmful, infringing, or misleading content is reported or detected:

The content will be immediately hidden from public view.
It will remain accessible only to the submitting account pending review.
This action is precautionary and does not constitute a final determination.

2.2 The purpose of this approach is to prevent further harm while providing due process to affected parties.

3. Automated and Periodic Review

3.1 Uhpenry may conduct automated scans or manual reviews of public-facing content, including but not limited to names, descriptions, README files, and other visible assets.

3.2 Content flagged during such reviews may be temporarily hidden or permanently removed without prior notice.

3.3 Users are responsible for ensuring that their content remains compliant at all times.

4. Reporting and Dispute Resolution

4.1 Any user may report content that they believe violates this Policy.

4.2 Upon receipt of a report:

The content will be immediately hidden after a four (4) hour wait period.
The Booth/User and reporter will be invited to resolve the matter through the Uhpenry Dispute System.

5. Enforcement and Penalties

5.1 Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at Uhpenry's sole discretion:

Content removal.
Temporary or permanent account suspension.
Revocation of listing rights or team participation.
Additional penalties for repeat or severe violations without further notice.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 By using the Platform, users agree to:

Submit only lawful, accurate, respectful, and non-infringing content.
Monitor their content for continued compliance.
Comply with all moderation decisions and the applicable appeals process.
Adhere to the Acceptable Use & Fair Practices Policy and the Community Guidelines.

6.2 Failure to comply with this Policy may result in enforcement actions, including but not limited to content takedowns, account restrictions, or permanent bans.
